How we handle your data

4l.vc (the “Service”) is run by ASHIKA Group. This is the information the Service handles.

When you make a link

• The URL you enter
• A one-way value derived from your IP address, used to spot mass creation from one source. We never store the IP address itself.

When a link is opened

To count clicks, we record the following only as totals. We never keep a record of each visit, and never store IP addresses.

• The date
• The site the visitor came from (the site name only)
• Country or region (as far as the network route shows)
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

Only people who know the link's management link can see these numbers.

When you sign in

Signing in is optional. When you do, we record:

• The service you signed in with (Google, Microsoft, Discord or ASHIKA ID) and your ID on that service
• Your name and email address, as that service gives them to us
• A cookie that keeps you signed in, and any API keys you create (both stored only as one-way values)

We never receive your password. This information is used only to show your links together and to let you use the API.

Abuse reports

We record the report and a one-way value derived from the reporter's IP address.

Stored in your browser

The list of links you made is kept in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.

Sharing

We do not give this information to anyone else unless the law requires it. Traffic passes through Cloudflare.
